Transition Town Guildford (TTG) is a community group formed in the summer of 2008 by residents of Guildford & the surrounding area, which aims to: 1) Build on the sense of community in Guildford; 2) Help people to reduce their energy and water usage, in order to reduce their bills and their environmental impact; 3) Work with individuals, community, and environmental groups both within and outside of Guildford; 4) Create a community more resilient to the problems faced by climate change and a scarcity of oil (peak oil).
